I made this book for my step-son who was very involved in the WWII memorial project. I was lucky enough to have photos of the manufacturing site as well as the completed site. It was fun putting it together and he was thrilled to receive it.

That is a great gift you put together for your son! It was exciting for me to see your book as well as I was just in DC for the first time back in October. How neat to see some "behind the scenes" for such a great monument!

Thanks for your comments. My step-son is so pleased and he's been showing it to everyone he knows.

I love it. The stone pattern for the background was perfect. Nicely done.

WOW-- what an impressive book to commemorate an impressive accomplishment on an impressive monument (can you tell I'm impressed??)! As the daughter of a WWII double Purple Heart honoree buried in Arlington (he always wondered why there was no acknowledgment of the sacrifices of his peers), I'm thrilled to know of the monument and now, of its birth! I look forward to visiting it on my next trip to the US! Thanks SO MUCH for sharing (and yes, you have a right to be proud!)

What a wonderful way to acknowledge a job well done. I know you are so proud of your son's accomplishment and he I see he is likewise proud of yours. I'd be showing it off to everyone, too!
