Photoshop Question

I am brand new to mp and photoshop and i have been reading the threads and I am working in photoshop and can you scan scrapbook paper to the photoshop to make layouts? I am making a book for my parents of my new baby boy for christmas and i love to scrapbook but i have not done digital yet, how do you save the file as a jpeg and import it into mp? What is the fullbleed option what does that mean, can you import images and decorative items into photoshop? Where can you find paper and embellishments is there a website that most of you use to get these itmes to make pages? So amny questions at first, hopefully it will get easier! THanks
