Software update making my book really slow

I downloaded the latest updates when prompted and now everything is so slow. Hated the new updates, how do I go back to my previous version that I downloaded in Feb, without losing all my hard works?????

I have the same issue, but I have never used the older version to compare. This is the situation

Album with 108 images, mostly at 5MP, imported all in the beginning
memory usage according to windows: 1.2GB (of 2GB total)

Every drag and drop motion was painfully taking 5-10 seconds to refresh, often not completing the task and requiring multiple attempts.

I'm not sure if this is a memory leak (the size doesn't keep raising), but removal of the images doesn't lower the memory allocation. This means to fix the problem I would close the program and reload. I also only import sections at a time now and go back to step one after laying out several pages.
