I know many people have suggested adding more types of layouts, or even customizable layouts, and I just wanted to second all of those suggestions, and add a few particular layout forms.
I really like the "film strip" format within the travel books, where you can include 4 small pictures together. I would love to see that in other layouts as well, with 4 or 5 pics--particularly in the wedding and baby albums I would think these would be easy to add, and even with the bestseller or modern layouts, just having 4 landscape (maybe include the option for 5 portrait) orientation pictures straight across the center of the page, or maybe even right below one large picture would be very nice in many instances.
Also, given that many cameras allow for panoramic shots (either directly, or through manual/automated photostitching) it would be great to allow for a single panoramic shot--perhaps even one that could go across two pages. I have been disappointed that I was unable to use the panoramic shots I took in the albums I recently ordered because it would have left white space around the picture, so that would be a welcome addition.
