I have been reading numerous threads on this site about full bleed questions. I am just starting my album and using photoshop. I don't have a question on how to make the full bleed page but just how much border to leave on the inside edge (where the book gets bound). Mypublisher says to leave
1/8"-1/4" around all sides of every photo.

However, there is one thread where someone made the full bleed pages and she said to use a 1/2" space on the two inside edges (where the book gets bound). Anyone have any comments on this?

I guess it would apply for all photos that are a full bleed on 1 page or full bleed on 2 pages.

Any help is appreciated!!:)

Hello,

There is a small amount of cropping required to achieve high-quality full bleed printing. Please allow 1/8 to 1/4 inch around all sides of your .jpeg image to allow for this cropping. Without this allowance, any text or image placed at the very edge of the jpeg image may be cut off when the book is printed.

Please keep in mind that captions, footers and page numbers cannot be included on full-bleed images.

Best Regards,
