I am about to find another company to publish my book, I am so upset with this software. I cannot seem to find any exact dimensions of the book. I have already made one book, very stock standard, but this time made 90% of my own photo collages with the intention of using full bleed on the pages. However, no matter what dpi or dimensions I use, the autofit makes everything pixelated and blurry. The latest I tried was 15.66 inches x 11.5 inches at 300 dpi, with lots of pixelation and jpeg artifacting (not the case when viewed in anything OTHER than my publisher).

The whole pixel dimension business on the help page doesnt tell you what DPI the pixels would be (i.e. 2560 x 1920, what DPI are those pixels supposed to be at? 180? 300?) I need to know the exact dimensions, in inches, of a full bleed, including the binder and how much of a bleed the printer uses, so that i can exactly fit the picture into the square without having to move around, zoom, etc.

The "auto fit" feature is great for people who don't have a full grasp of resolution and image resizing, but I don't want my images manipulated. I made them with a vision, and have spent weeks on this, only to feel defeated and bewildered. I have done plenty of print work before this book, it is not an understanding of resolution problem. When previewing my book, it is not acceptable to print. I don't want to waste my time and money on something that is substandard. HELP PLEASE! :)

I am trying to figure out the same this minute. One page on the website says one thing and another page says something completely different. So do we have to go by the numbers on the help page?? or which is it?
