Here is an email I sent Tech Support regarding a problem with a book I was making. They seem to think it is a corrupt program but I duplicated it on my laptop with a clean install and no connection to the problem exported/imported book. Has anyone had a problem like this or an idea on how to save my hours and hours of work creating this new book from an exported file.
Thanks in advance
Joanne
I have finally figured out what is happening with all this. The program is not corrupt it just has a limitation that causes all this to happen.> > > > Let me explain what I did to discover this. > > > > 1. I was working on an imported book, making changes, saving it under a new name and then exporting it to open on my laptop so I could show a co-worker at work the book I was making for her. Each time I opened this dime file on the laptop, it all came up as the old, originally imported book. Now, the question is this. If I upload this changed, imported dime file book (Book B) in my example above, which book will it upload? Book A or Book B? Th! at is what I need to know because Book B has 100 pages and 300 pictures that I would rather not recreate aga!> in.> > > > Please ask your programmers what will happen if I u!> pload th> is file and is there a way to test this to see what uploads before I actually pay for the book? I would be most grateful if you would do some checking before you get back to me on this. As you can see, I have spent several hours working on this problem and it will be worth it if I do not have to recreate this book again. Thanks
Thanks in advance
