I would like to make a classic photo book but I want to lay it out in Photoshop CS3. I've read a lot of posts where they tell you to watch out for margins and all that jazz but there's no definitive answer as to how to do this effectively and right the first time. Can someone....ANYONE please help me figure this out. Like what size canvas to work on in Photoshop....what margins should I leave in order to not have something chopped off when printed. I've seen other people ask these same questions but the answers are always deleted! Why is that?!

Anyone, please help. A stepwise process as to how to lay this out RIGHT in Photoshop and putting it into the MP software would be BLISSFUL!

I am making the deluxe size book, 15 x 11.5. I created a Photoshop CS3 file just this size. As I trial, I inserted some text, saved as a PSD file, resaved as a jpeg, then inserted that into my book as a full page image. This worked fine. I discovered, however, that my text was too far to the left. So, I simply went back to PSD file and moved the text a few spaces to the right, did my resaving, etc. Bingo, everything looks good.
