Is there a way to use digital scrapbooking techniques on the pages? I have found some digital scrapbooking websites (where you can pay a few dollars for digital pictures of ribbon, buttons, and other pictures of real scrapbooking materials) that have some really neat ideas. Is there a way to use those in a MP book?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Angela -

You should be able to download and create your scrapbook pages with whatever software you have; and then save the completed page as a JPEG image without layers. I would still recommend saving a separate copy of the page with your layers (usually in the native format of your software) so that you can go back and fix any mistakes that you might find.

Hope this helps !

Correct. Thanks for the reply!

Just ensure your images are of a high resolution and save the entire page as a JPEG. You can then drag that image into our full bleed photo mold. Just allow 1/4-1/8 of an inch around the sides of the image to allow for bleed and cropping in the production process.

Sincerely,

For digital scrapbooking OPUSalbums.com recommends Art Explosion Software Factory - for photo albums ACD Fotoslate 4 is recommended. see http://www.opusalbums.com/software .

I use PSE 5.0 to create my "projects" using the digital kits you mention.

Then I save as .jpeg so that the computer world sees it as "one jpg image" (ie. a photo).

Then upload that entire "project"/image into a full-bleed page (choose 1 photo on page, full page).

You can further size using the + and - editing arrows to get a perfect fit.

HTH!
