Has My Publisher ever consider working with an online photoposting site like pictage?
My wedding pics are posted there and I would love to make my book with those photos. except to do that it would be 1300 dollars.

Obviously I am not a MyPublisher employee and, therefore, can't/won't speak for them, but as a professional photographer...
I certainly understand the desire to make a $50 photo book instead of paying $1300. However, your wedding photographer actually has the copyright to all images that (s)he took of your wedding.
To take those images and have them printed violates the copyright and any company that assists in that is opening themselves up to serious liability. It's the same thing when you take a professional print to Best Buy or Wal-Mart, or.... and they won't scan and print it for you.
I know it sounds harsh and you probably paid a lot of money for your wedding photography, but it's because of the copyright violation that companies have to be cautious.
It's the sale of the wedding albums where photographers actually earn their income.

Mizz D -
You should definitely ask your wedding photographer if he/she would be willing to allow you to own the source files for your photos. Some are willing to do that, and include it as part of their package, some will allow you to have them for a fee.
I agree with Rob that you should first talk to them to see if they can work something our for you.
Sincerely,
MyPublisher
