Text problems

Does anyone else have problems seeing their text while they are creating a book? Most of the time, when I type text it shows up rather scrambled on the page and I have to really zoom in to see them, even then some of the letters sit on top of each other. I've asked customer service about this and their solution was to share the book with myself, which is a pretty inefficient way to create a book. Any other ideas or solutions? I love this product but would really like to see the text features improve.
