Scrapbook software question (& warning!)

I got "Scrapbooks Plus" free with a new camera. Although I was impressed with my first creation using this free software, I'm no longer impressed with it after I spent 2 evenings creating my own layout templates only to find my file is now corrupt and unopenable.

I was looking at the Scrapbook Factory screenshots online & found a picture that indicates that "Factory"s interface is nearly identical to the interface of Scrapbooks Plus. It appears "Plus" is just a mini-Scrapbook Factory.

I was wondering, has anyone using "Factory" experienced file-corruption issues?
Also, how's the printed quality of pages exported at 100% quality jpgs?
Any other recommendations for more reliable software (at low cost)?

Breeze3005 has used Scrapbook Factory. Try directing your questions to her, although she has some posts about her first book dated August 20, 2008 under the title "I Received My Book". She also includes the link to her book on the same thread. Hope this helps.
