Using MP for my business' promotional materials

We are a small company with a hand made product. Having catalogues made are just too expensive for us. I have seen this finished product - which looks amazing...and was thinking I could use this as promotional catalogue for my product. Anyone else doing this? Any suggestions, tips, problems?

I have a friend who is a relator who uses MP to create books for her clients. She takes pictures of every stage their house is being built then surprises them with it on closing day! Clients love it!
