Hi all,

Just wanted to share the book I put together for my mother-in-law. I'm hoping to get more creative with each new book that I do! Now on to my father-in-law, grandma-in-law, and my parent's books! THEN I'll get to mine! =) Enjoy!

Your book is beautiful, Kim, simply beautiful! I'm so impressed with your two-page spreads, too - every one of them meet in the gutter perfectly. What software did you use for the layouts that aren't MP templates? Are you happy with the quality of the photos in the book? I see you used the Italian leather cover. Is this a Classic or Deluxe book? In any case, it's just gorgeous and I know the book looks even better in person. You did a great job and the wedding looked wonderful! Congratulations!

Thanks Marti! I'm hoping that the 2 page spreads work out once I get the real book...keeping my fingers crossed! I used PP for all my layouts! thanks again for your tips on cutting pics in half using microsoft paint - it came in extremely handy! This book is a classic book since it's for the parents. When I get to our own book, I'll be ordering a Deluxe. Hopefully by then I will have become better at doing more creative layouts!

I recently finished wedding books for two of my sons and daughter-in-laws. I gave each of them the Deluxe style and I kept the Classic style for us. Worked out very nicely. No scrapbooking was used in them, though. I was in a rush, so just dropped the photos in the MP templates. The books are lovely and I didn't spend a great deal of time on them.

Hi:

First of all i would like to say that your book is awesome. I was wondering how you did the first page inside with the fuzzy title, how you were able to blur the text box. Also how do you get pics in the background? And then others on top. I am new to using this website so I was ust wondering.

Thanks

Hi Kinga,

I used powerpoint for all the "special effects" pages. That's how I was able to blur the textbox, get pics in the background, and stretch pics across 2 pages.
