If I print my book now, can I still continue working on it and print the newer version after a few months, or will my book disappear after I upload it?

Your book file will remain in BookMaker after you upload the file for printing. Thanks to our client-based software all information is saved on your computer so you can reopen books and make changes at a later date. Also, you can do a Save As if you want to keep the version you printed but also create a 2nd version with new photos or different layouts.
