Hi Everyone!

The Deluxe book I'm about to post is not a scrapbook this time. My husband and I just returned from 30 days in Europe and I wanted to capture our memories in a Deluxe Travel style book. I just received the book today (only 3 days shipping) and it is GORGEOUS! Just for the record, we visited: Spain, France (Provence), Switzerland, Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, the Netherlands (Amsterdam) and the Czech Republic. We traveled with my son, daughter-in-law and her parents in Spain, and my son and daughter-in-law who live in Zurich in Switzerland.

It was a wonderful trip and our book is the best in the world! There is no one out there who can beat MyPublisher's Deluxe Leather book for quality, style and beauty. Just wanted to share it with you:

Hope you enjoy it - although it looks 100 times better in person!

Thanks,
Marti

I should also add that this book is covered in a beautiful, luxurious, stitched black leather. The pages are heavy, coated paper and do not bend or crease. The images are bright, crisp, clear and vibrant (especially those photos that were taken on a very high resolution camera setting when the sun was perfectly placed and the sky was blue). I write this only because I have read some negative reviews recently that were worrisome. I hadn't ordered a book for several months, so couldn't vouch for recent MyPublisher book quality. However, now I can, and I do, wholeheartedly!

Marti - Thank you for sharing your hard work (and your trip and your family!!) The photos are gorgeous, and you have a talent for telling a story, rather than just snapping photos! It was great to see you in so many photos! I fear that my face is scarce in my books, as I am the only photographer in the family! I hadn't thought about ordering one of the Deluxe Leather books, but for an adventure such as yours, it would definitely be the thing to do. I ordered the Deluxe (I think that's the largest one, only not leather, right?) for our trip to China and I was exceedingly satisfied with the quality - however, now having pages bend.. now THAT is a major plus! Thanks again for sharing!

Thanks for sharing Marti!! The book is BEAUTIFUL! Your photos are amazing and the story... just amazing...

Thanks for the review on the quality as well, that is always good to hear!

BTW, did you get my PM? I wrote you about My Pic Tales. Would love to hear your thought :) I tried searching for it here and didn't see any feedback.

Thanks again for sharing and looking forward to many more :)

Thanks, Karen. I think many people forget to include photos of themselves in their books, or they are behind the camera most of the time as you are. That happens to my husband a lot, so we started using a portable tri-pod and the auto setting on the camera. Most of the photos in my book that include both of us together were taken that way. They turned out to be some of the best ones.

Yes, I love the large Deluxe size book. The pages in my Deluxe books are very heavy - they don't bend or crease easily at all. I haven't had a problem with that.

Thanks, Annie. I did - finally - go in and check my PM's. Thanks so much for reminding me. I hadn't had any messages there for so long that I totally forgot to check, and then I was gone for a month, too. I replied with a private message to you about My Pic Tales.

By the way, I didn't tell much of a story in this Europe 2008 book. The Travel style theme seems more appropriate for more photos and less text, and I purposely used that format for that book. I knew I wouldn't be journaling much. I did a "Best of" book (Classic style) of this trip that's almost done and I plan to do a couple more. One will concentrate on telling the whole story. That one will be time-consuming to create.

Hi CapeMaui! I left you a private message, but I don't think you'll receive an email about it unless I leave you a message here, too. Anyway, take a look, okay? -Marti

Marti - an absolutely beautiful book! As the previous posts said, you do a wonderful job telling your story and chosing which pictures to put together. Great job!
