I received the email about the photo book idea #52 (the recipe book). This is an awesome idea for families with alot of special holiday recipes. How do you make these? Do I type the recipe in as text when I create my photo book? or is it a picture (scanned jpg) of the written recipe? I appreciate any I help I get with this. Thanks!!

Not sure what the "Photo Book Idea #52 is, Micoletti. It's a good idea, though. I would think you could use either choice when making a recipe book. You could type the recipe on a text-only template on one side of a two-page spread, then add photos on the other side. Or, you could do a scan of the written recipe, save it as a .jpg, and upload it on to a MP page. In either case, you probably want to add photos that coordinate with the recipe as well.

That was an excellent idea. I believe that the receipe pages were individually laid out in Photoshop or Illustrator, saved as a jpeg and then used as a full page photo. I am somewhat new to MP also and learning how to do some of the special custom designed things (without templates). I hope this makes sense.
