I am planning to make a wedding album for my daughter and have been reading as much as I can on these great forums before I start. If I plan to make my pages in SF or PP because of the increased flexibility with layouts, what is the best book style to choose and do you create each page in the other program and then just import it onto a BM page? Thanks for any help.

Hi Cathym,
I have used PP exclusively with all the MP books I have made, and I have used all of the book styles available in both the Classic and Deluxe sizes. Everything has worked well for me. I've been delighted with every book!
The only point I would make is to use particularly clear, crisp and bright photos for the large templates in the Deluxe size. Those photos print quite large and any little flaw in the photo is likely to be more noticeable. Actually, that goes for any photo being inserted into a large template in any size book.
I make each of my layouts on a PP slide, save the slide as a .jpg and then import it into the template I have chosen for the MP page in the book. I make allowances for page trim and especially the gutter or binding side. I do very little measuring. Most of it is eye-balling the preview page and estimating.
I would assume that if you are using more than one program (i.e. PP and something else), you would save each layout in each respective program as a .jpg and import them as described above.
It's also not a bad idea to make your first book in the Classic style with the minimum number of pages as a sort of "test" book. Nothing helps like actually seeing your first effort in print.
Good luck and have fun,
Marti
