Bookmaker for Mac

Hi there,

I have recently purchased a Mac and immediately downloaded the Bookmaker software. However, to my horror, Mypublisher for Macs does not have the new templates that are available for windows. I know Mac users have iphoto but I have purchased a number of books recently with the travel template using my old windows laptop and LOVE it. However, as my laptop is well on it's way out, I am no longer able to use it intensively. Is there any chance that more templates will be offered for Mac users soon?

At this time, we are not developing new book styles for MAC. We are working to improve the MAC software and gain some usage among MAC users...then we will start adding features. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Yes, please work on getting the bugs out of your software for Mac. The application tends to crash a lot!

Hi, me as a new user would also love to see more possibilities on the mac software. Don't get me wrong, I love the MyPublisher software, even like it a lot better than the one mac offers in iPhoto. I actually just ordered a book. But still I would be happier if I could customize my pages even more, especially placing pictures wherever (overlapping, rotating, etc) and bigger fonts. Thanks!

Thank you for replying (and I'm impressed with all of the responses to the large number of queries you receive).

It is a shame that MAC users are not receiving the same flexibility and choices as windows users. I am yet to use it so have not encountered the problems mentioned on the online discussions but I guess these need to be sorted first. Just disappointed I won't be able to use it anymore.

To be honest, our BookMaker PC software has been around since 2001, but our MAC software only launched for the first time this year. That's why the number of options for MAC are not the same as PC yet. We are working to improve the MAC product, but we can only move so quickly...all I can say is that it's under development, but thank you for your e-mail!

I would definitely urge MyPublisher to work on more features for Mac users. I've had several albums from here as I consider the finished result as very good quality. However, it is very annoying to receive emails telling me of new and exciting features, only to find that they're for PC users only.

Hi gms - we've deployed a version of the MAC client that we feel is much more stable and has fixed the bugs. Now onto development. We are actually working now to catch the MAC client up to the PC...so it won't be too long! Thank you for your patience.
