Black and White Images

I read in this forum, somewhere, that Black and White images do not work well in MyPublisher books, that I should scan in color. Is this correct? Is RGB prefered or does it matter?

Although it's a bit counterintuitive, your black and white images need to be saved in RGB. Scanning in RGB and later desaturating 100% (to remove the color) will give you the best quality scans of your images while ensuring that they'll be handled properly by BookMaker.

Thank you. Good to know. Usually, I like a little tint to my B&W's, but not always.
