I had high hopes and it exceeded them. Even the pictures we included which were taken with a 3.1 mp DGX in underwater housing came out better than I expected. The ones that were taken with film were great and the ones we took with our Fuji Finepix 40fd 8.3 mp in underwater housing are super!
I should stop to point out that not only am I not a photographer, I don't even take very good snapshots. So, my definition of great might be different than yours. But I love them! Even the pictures that I zoomed in on came out very well.
The only thing I would do differently is some of the pictures in the book are a bit lighter than they looked on my computer screen, so next time I will make the exposure a little darker and maybe turn the saturation a notch higher. This will illustrate exactly how computer/photography savvy I am. I think you measure things in notches. Good thing I am not a physicist or I might have to use units of measure such as "a smidge" and "a tee-tiny bit."
In our standard sized Not Fish album the colors in the book were comparable to the colors I saw on the computer screen.
So, thanks mypublisher.com and thanks to all the forum participants who shared their expertise.
