Pocketbook photo quality

This is the first time I'm creating a pocketbook and the pictures I have are mostly high resolution. I have resized them per the dimensions recommended. However, when I have it in preview, it still looks grainy. What do should I do?

As long as you images meet the specs, your printed book should look just fine. BookMaker renders a low-res version of each image to display on the monitor, but the printed book is actually created using the full resolution originals.
