scanning photos and pamplets

I'm new to all this online bookmaking. But anyway, scanned some pictures and brochures and saved them in jpg. When I double -clicked to add them in among the photos, it just says "loading image" and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

What DPI were they scanned, and how many pixels high and wide?

This may be due to a bug in a previous release of BookMaker 2.3.

The most current release includes a fix for this. For some reason, certain scanners include additional data in the JPG file that can't be interpreted by BookMaker, which gives rise to the dilemma you described.

Just follow the link below to download and reinstall the software over your existing copy.

Save the file to your desktop, 'Run' the installer and accept the license agreement.

This reinstallation will not harm your saved books. ;-)
