Please, I fix up old photos. I use the clone stamp and the healing brush extensively. But, when I am working on a grey section of photo, I find it difficult to see the cursor/tool. Is there a way, that anyone knows, to change the color of my cursor/tool, so I can see it against the grey?
Thanks.

Hi. Have you tried "preferences"? I know you can change the grid, mask and other colors. Outside of that you might do a search for "photoshop change cursor color" in google. That is usually how I find my answers.

Since the Clone tool in Photoshop behaves like a paintbrush, you'd change the cursor display the same way. Edit>Preferences>Cursors... The 'crosshair' option may make it easier for you to see in the 'gray areas'. ;-)

Thanks, that does not help much. Someone on another board suggested throwing another layer with an overlay of color to contrast with the cursor. This works pretty well.

This won't make it easier to see, but will help find it and be in the right place to start - when you press space bar, the cursor changes to the hand tool, or hold down ctrl (cmd mac) and cursor changes to move tool.
You can also use the caps loc key to change cursor to cross hair.

danMc, Thank you! This I expect, will prove to be very useful information.
Don't understand "deleted", Curiser.

Yes, danMc. I tried this and it works very well.
Again, Thanks!
