You could always put the share link on your web page, and have people click on it. As far as having it being embedded, let me know if you get an answer to that, that would be cool.

I'll pass along the suggestion. It is a great idea.

It can't be hard I would guess .. It looks like a mixture of java and Flash I think ... and you can embedd these from say YouTube .. it would be cool to upload them to YouTube .... lots of free publicity for MyPublisher as well .....
There must also be some software on the internet that can extract or 'grab' the slideshow from my book shelf in the mean-time .. ?

You can use CamStudio to capture a video of you flipping through your book. You can select just the book as well so the other part of the page doesn't show.

I'll try to do it myself and see how it turns out.

OK - done and uploaded to YouTube

Keep in mind that I just flipped through the book quickly as a demo to show this. I'd do it slower and nicer with better music if I was doing this for real.

better ... on a Mac .. download Snapz Pro (http://www.ambrosiasw.com/utilities/snapzprox/)
set the video window .. play some music on iTunes or from a CD or whatever ..... and it will capture the sound .. and the window you set, knock out your curser ....... made a 108 Mb Quicktime .mov file .. it's here on Flickr (now they do 'long photographs') too ......
.. but the Flickr encoding process has made it a little bit 'laggy' with the next page appearing over a little of the flow of the book ... this isn't on the original file ....
http://www.flickr.com/photos/dirkvdw/2467464243/
you can also embed this file from Flickr as it turns my Quicktime upload into a flash file ....
I'm going to upload the full 108Mb file to my website sometime soon and maybe also to by Blogger site so that you can see the true quality - it's almost as amazing as the book itself .. delivered Tuesday apparently ...
