Scanning text

I got married last summer and I am finally ready to make my first photo book! I want to scan the text of our ceremony into our photo book. How would that work? Is it going to be clear or scanning a text is not a good idea? Its in Farsi, so I can't type it in. I have to scan it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make it look the best it can?
