I want to save my work on a different hard drive instead of my C: drive. need help

The software is not set up that way. The only way you can do that is to export the book file elsewhere, but then you can't work on it from that location.

After I export the book file elsewhere, can I delete the book file from the C drive, then import the book file back whenever I need to work on it?

I don't want to save the book file in my C drive since I'm using my laptop, don't like to use up my diskspace and all my book files are huge 1 to 2 GB. I have about 50 book files and more to come.

It's a bit risky to delete it - but the worst case scenario is that if you export it, you can wipe your entire MyPublisher directory, reinstall the software and start from scratch if it gets to that.

Just wanted to add that I share the same frustration. I don't have as much space on my C: as I do with other partitions. I'm disappointed that the install doesn't allow you to choose the drive location to install it and work from.
