I downloaded the Costco Version (and later uninstalled it and downloaded the version from the My Publisher website), and I have the same problem repeatedly when I either tell the program to run after installation or when I start it from my programs folder.

The "splash" screen stays on for about 3 to 4 minutes, apparently while it is loading a previous book which I created several years ago. It starts up with the old book showing, but there is a separate message overlaying the prgram screen. The separate message is a shutdown notice, requesting permission to send information to My Publisher. the message "Request permission to send information to My Publsiher. In order to improve the reliability of BookMaker, we request that you send a log file to MyPublsher". Then the program closes. Basically I am unable to use the program at all. I am presently pulling together pictures for a 50+ page book and would like to use the service as I have been pleased with past results. Please help.

HI TRM -
I recommend deleting all MyPublisher files from the system and downloading a fresh install. Do you need that old book? If not, go to My Computer>Documents & Settings> Your User > Application Data > MyPublisher and delete that entire folder. Then uninstall the application using Add/Remove programs. You should be able to begin completely fresh.

Sincerely,
