Trouble with exporting

We just bought a new computer and want to export a few books we have been working on to the new computer. From what we've read, it seems that we need to export the books and then import them to the new computer. However, export is grayed out and we are unable to do it. We saw a posting that indicated that it may take up to 10-15 minutes for large files to get loaded and then export will become available, but this has not happened for us and it has been at least an hour. Any suggestions? We don't want to loose the books we spent countless hours on.

I have been very unsuccessful Exporting large books and then Importing them back into the software. I too changed computers and wanted to Import them to the new one. What happened when I Exported my file, the page turned grey and there was a message at the top that Bookmaker was not responding. I knew something was happening because my computer was churning away. My 3.5 gig books took awhile to Export but never an hour. The .dime files appeared where I had saved them. The problem is that Bookmaker will not Import a .dime file that is larger than 2 gigs. Most of my Exported books went over that size. I wanted to make some changes and have one of my books reprinted but am unable to do so now.

I have complained over and over to MyPublisher about this issue. The last thing I was told is that there are more important issues they are working on and to be patient. It might take up to two months or more (if ever) to solve this problem.
