I am making a book of my son's first year. Right now I have it set up to be just pictures. I was going to use either the baby boy book or the storyteller book, but realized that I would just be re-writing stuff that I already have in his baby book and in a journal I have been keeping for him since I was pregnant.
So my question is do those of you who have seen or made books that are just photos think it would be obnoxious to make a book full of just baby pictures. I am using some really great shots and I am keeping each page as clean and uncluttered as possible while still using all my favorite pics. People always love my pics of him, and so far I think the book looks beautiful, but I wonder if a book of just pictures would be too much for some people?

Thanks,
Anna

Look at Eburr1024's book posted just before this post. She used the collage style and it was very effective. Beautiful book for a boy or a girl.

I just finished my daughter's first year book (she's 4 1/2 now), here's a link:

http://www.mypublisher.com/bookshelf/bookviewer.py?d=tq%3Ey-cppl%60je%3E32%3A483%3A

As you can see, I have it telling a little story, she'll be able to read soon, so I wanted something she could read one day.

Some pages are pics only.

It has my side of the family and my wife's side, I got three books, one for us, one for my mom and mom-in-law.

Maybe you'll get some ideas of what to do or not from my book.

Your book looks great! What book style did you chose? Also how did you get the Halloween backgrounds and the other great backgrounds? I am just getting started and trying to make decisions on which style to chose. I am making a baby book as well. Thanks.

I used the story teller layout.

For the several custom backgrounds, I used a program like PhotoShop to create the pages, then chose the single page layout in BookMaker and put in the custom page I made.

Glad you liked it, thanks.
