Man o man!

I've been making a book for months now, and I just have this absolutely maddening recurring problem. I've been all over the forum and no one seems to have the information that I'm looking for.

Basically, I've made an image in Photoshop that I want to occupy the whole page (i.e. it has the captions and page numbers built in). The problem is that after making it according to all of the helpful specifications that have been posted on this forum, it always gets cut off at the edges. In other words, the captions and page numbers on the bottom of the page (as well as the left or right side, depending) are not viewable. I've even resized the photo so that it is 13''x10'' at 350 pixels per inch (which should DEFINITELY fit within a deluxe hardcover book) but it STILL cuts off.

For what it's worth I'm making a deluxe photobook 15.25''x11.75'' at 350 pixels per inch).

I have a feeling that the problem that I'm having may be related to the fact that I've set the resolution for the image at 350 pixels per inch, given that everyone on this talks about dpi. I don't know where to set dpi in a Photoshop image.

Thanks for any help that you can give.

Any help that you could give would be wonderful and appreciated.
