Hi, I'm totally new at this and not very computer proficient, AT ALL!
s there some sort of instruction page that is a 1-2-3 thing?

This is what I've got so far. I was able to download my pictures from Picasa, select a book and I choose the page layout, say 3 pictures and drag my pictures into the template. I'm gettting that.
1. Can I change the background color of the page? I'm using the travel book.
2. Are there "pre-made" little graphics to drag on? Like a fish, travel kind of things? I was thinking like how you put stickers on scrapebooks.

This is my first attempt at this. I've done scrapebooking with real photos and glue, ect, but this is less messy!... and probably easier once I learn some tools.

I'm not sure your pictures from Picasa are high enough resolution to use in your book. If you get a red line around your pictures when you bring them into the book, they won't work. If you get a blue line, they should be ok. There is no instruction page but there is a help section on the mypublisher.com site.

You cannot change the background color in the travel book. What you see is what you get. Other books allow black, white or grey background pages. No elements can be brought in (fish, travel things, stickers). Many people do their pages in Power Point, Photoshop Elements or Photoshop and bring them in that way.

You must start with good quality pictures that are clear and are at least 1 mb to 5 mb for them to look good. And, they should be at 180 to 350 dpi. I am using 200 dpi now and the pictures look very good. All of my pictures are between the 1 mb to the 5 mb size. The help section gives you dimentions and resolution information.

Jump in and see what you get. Come back here if you get stuck and one of us will see if we can help you.
