Here's a link to the MyPublisher book from my recent trip to Antarctica:

Book ID #: M638354
Password: 1130897

I was very pleased in general with the quality of the book. One "niggle" is the book jacket; working with a Mac, I didn't have the option to modify the cover text box (e.g., by making the box transparent or by moving it to another location on the cover) ... and it runs right over the reflection of the iceberg. I hope to see the advanced book jacket feature in a future release of the BookMaker software for Macs.

Enjoy!

Beautiful book. You did an absolutely beautiful job on your book and your pictures were breathtaking.

We went in January/February, 2007 on the NordNorge. It is the same ship that rescued the passengers on the sinking Explorer recently. When we were on the NordNorge, our sister ship the NordKapp hit a rock entering Deception Bay and tore a hole in her hull. We rescued her 230 passengers and took them back to Ushuaia. If you would like to see my book, I'll send you a private message with a link. I don't want to post it here to take away from your beautiful book.

Our crossing of the Drake during that rescue was one of the worst in recorded history according to the captain. We only missed three stops but the company gave us a 100% refund including air fare and hotels in Santiago and Buenos Aries. Your weather was much better than ours with beautiful clear skies. Our weather was overcast and not too much sun. We'll go back one day and visit what we missed.

I would recomend an Antarctic cruise to anyone with a little adventure in their blood.

Cruiser, thanks so much for your kind comments. I was really thrilled to see how the pictures looked in the book; my husband isn't a traveller (in fact, he didn't come on the trip -- I went with his mother), but even he was amazed at the colors. I'd love to see your book; I enjoy the different perspectives from other people's photos.

We were lucky to have a trip that was eventful only in good ways. The weather turns so quickly; one of our sister ships was supposed to leave Ushuaia the day after we did, and was held up in port for 16 hours because the Beagle Channel was so bad.

The only downside to our trip is that having actually and unexpectedly crossed the Antarctic Circle, now I want to travel north of the Arctic Circle, too! One more trip to put on the "must do" list.

What an amazing book! Your pictures tell quite a story. I'm sure it was difficult to capture the beauty and majesty of such a place, but it is absolutely gorgeous! Good job!
