I have installed the software, uploaded my pictures at least 2x and created 2 books now. Now i'm at the point where every time i open the program it lasts about 5 minutes and lets me make my book and then it crashes my computer... and about the 3rs time it did this now my book is gone. And-where does it get saved? I get that the program is set up to pull together the pictures and templates to form the book, but where is the book saved?? Or the file which configures the book at least. I've been in the middle of 2 big books when this happens. I love the way they are turning out and would like to finish making them and order them, spending $65-$95 or more. I am at the point now where it's just not worth it and i'll just look elsewhere unless there is a solution i have yet to see.
please help!.........sarah bisnett

Hi Sarah - I am sorry for the trouble. We will actually have a maintenance release tomorrow morning, so if you redownload bookmaker tomorrow afternoon, hopefully it will have solved some of your issues. I am really sorry about this! The books are saved in your Application Data directory - c: > documents & settings > your users > application data > mypublisher > bookmaker.
I hope this helps!
Sincerely,
MyPublisher

Okay-I had seen where the book files were stored. However, they are not showing up on the list of books once i'm in the mypublisher program, and when i try to import a book from the location you told me about-the file starts with a G....and then some numbers and such-it does not acknowledge this as a bookmaker file, I try to open it and...nothing. So how can I, if i can at all, access previously lost but maybe still saved books?!? The only thing saved is a book named the same as one of my lost books, but the book is completely blank-just like i'm starting all over. the pictures are still there, but not put in the pages. Is it possible that I'm just trying to make the book too big and it is taking up too much memory?
Please help!?!

At what point is the application crashing? I have not heard of customers losing books in a long time. How large of a book are you trying to make? How large is each image? Make sure they are not larger than 7Mb at the very high end to be safe!

Seems like uninstalling and then installing this newer version seemed to work. I also realize that my pix were probably large since i wasn't altering them off of my camera...but everything works fine now without changing their size, so. Alls well. Thank you for responding so quickly!
