Bookmaker constantly crashing!

I'm trying to create a book using version 2.3 and now EVERY time I open it it's a race to add one picture to the book before Bookmaker just closes. I can't do anything because the program just shuts down automatically.
I re-started my computer and then even re-downloaded the program, but I still have the same problem.
Please help me solve this - I'm about 3/4 of the way through a book I've taken weeks to make!

Please check your images specs -- if the files are larger than they need to be, it puts undue strain on BookMaker -- you may need to resize them. Also, you may find that BookMaker performs better without other apps running if you don't have a lot of RAM.
