Inside cover page

In most books you read the first page after opening the cover is usually blank on both sides. Do the photobooks have such a blank page after the cover or will the very first page, as soon as you open the cover, have my pictures? If they don't have a blank page and I wanted this look can I just leave the first page without photos on both sides? This would go for the last page in the book as well.

There is a blank inside (its grey) as well as a fly sheet, THEN your first page.
