Getting started

I have a Mac- I downloaded the program but it's not showing me anywhere that says "get started" or "create a photo book" - I'm afraid it has something to do with the download. When I go to open the downloaded program (under downloads at the bottom of the screen) a small window pops up with jumbled symbols. What do I do/ am I not seeing to get started with my photo album? Help!

Hi Jenn - on the MAC first you download it, then drag it into your Applications folder. After that you will get a terms of service agreement, then the application launches. Can you please give me a little bit more detail as to how far along the process you got?
