My first album was a history of my elderly father's life. I gave the books to each of his children and grandchildren, and one living sister, as a Christmas gift. I was very pleased with how they turned out. And pleased that they were affordable, that I could do this. Everyone seemed most appreciative.
My second album is to be of my deceased mother's life. As it is for next Christmas, I have time to make it really special. I know my family will cherish it.
I am thinking that I may want to do a third album, probably four or five Christmases from now, with two to four pages for each ancestor, their life stories in brief, with lots of nice big photos. I will start with my grandparents and hopefully go back. Maybe I will include a family tree.
These books are so nice, they will surely be passed down from generation to generation. It allows me a way to present what I know, in a form that will not be discarded, and leave clues for future generations, who may take an interest and want to know us. Making my parents known to their grandchildren, will help them to know themselves better, too. It is all about being known and being remembered.
I like, too, the simplicity of the layouts and themes. The photos and the text are what are important, not showing off my creativity.
Thank you My Publisher, for making this available and affordable!
