Overlap of pictures with Text

I would love to be able to overlap pictures to give a more collage or artsy feel to my pages.

I would also like to see the ability to have text going across pictures to annouce or have a page stand out.

I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but I second having the ability to have one caption on the bottom of a page even if there are multiple pictures on the page!!!
