Problems Viewing Photos - Program Crashes or Hangs

I'm having a problem viewing photos in the Mac version 2.1. While browsing through photos, MyPublisher would terminate after viewing several photos. I trashed the app and re-downloaded it again. Now after scrolling through several pictures, I get the "spinning ball" and the program gets hung up and I have to Force Quit.

I'm using a 24"iMac with 4GB of RAM.

I just started using Bookmaker last night (24 inch iMac, Leopard) and had similar problems - kept freezing up when uploading photos (after about 20 or so) or giving me a message about an internal error with the suggestion to restart. I'll give it one more shot and then move on to Apple for this book project.

I received an email from Customer Service suggesting that I download the software from the link below. It appears to be a bit later version as it's dated 1 month later than the version I downloaded from mypublisher.com.

I've been able to view more pictures without crashing or hanging but I can't say that I've used it enough to confirm the problem is completely solved.

Also, when using Bookmaker from a second user, I was getting a message that it was running from a non-writeable volume so I changed the permissions for Everyone to Read/Write and it seems to have solved that problem.

I'm having the same problem. Support answered me but did not address the problem. Gave me know help at all.
