Hi! I ordered my first book with a jacket. I am now ready to order my 2nd book and was just wondering which covers people prefer. It is a vacation album and I will be getting the medium size hardcover, but am unsure if I will like the linen book with photo cut out. How is the photo attached to the cover on those books? Opinions greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I've had one book with the photo pasted to the cover and three with the window cutout. It prefer the window cutout by far. I'm sure it is just a matter of taste, but the window is very nicely done. The picture is recessed and thus less likely to get scratched or damaged.

I've also ordered two books with a dust jacket. They look very nice too. We keep our family book on display on a stand in the living room, so I prefer the windowed hard cover for that. The dust jackets are great though and we do like them.
