Honestly, your font options suck...there are that many to choose from! And who only use font sizes 9-12? We need BIGGER font sizes!!! And also...make it so we can change the font and font size to just a word or a line. It is very boring to have the same font and size for the caption. Sometime we need that different sizes to add the dramatic effects to explain our pictures.

I would like to be able underline or bold selected text on a page, but not all the text.

You're only looking at the way the page looks... the balance of pictures and word boxes, but not considering that we really need to add more words. How about occasionally allowing... maybe... two pictures and a half page of text?

Also, we really need to be able to use larger text. Several people we've showed our books to say they just can't read the fine print!

Hi Talovelace-

Actually we have the layouts I think you are looking for. Our Storyteller book style does just that. You can have pages of just photos, or pages with photos and very large captions - like a 1/2 page of text. Let me know what you think!

The storyteller option is great if you know thats exactly what you want to do for the entire book. Sometimes however, I may want to make a travelbook, and for one particular page I want a lot of text with one or two pictures. It would be great if you could mix & match the text box/photo/background options. With the travel book, I found that I had to add one or two more pictures, just so that I could get the larger text box (with the smaller font option) to say what I really wanted to say.

Also, in addition to the larger font options request, it would be nice to have SMALLER font options also in certain cases where the text boxes are huge, but the minimum font size is 19, so its impossible to put the text that I want on the page.

Thanks for your feedback moneypenny! We are soon launching some new software that will expand the font size selection :o) Stay tuned!

This is getting close to the thread about new template pages.

When needing a special page layout (be it for images, text, both, etc.), I create a "picture" in Photoshop that's the same size as the book's page, plus ¼" horizontally and vertically for bleed.

This allows me to use any typeface I want, any point size I want, plus rotation, effects, faces, and so on. I can even overlay text on the image.

I certainly wouldn't want to do an entire book this way (unless a client is paying me large sums of $$$ per hour), but even a few of these can enhance the book,
