Blue box on certain photos in the "organize" phase of my project?

I noticed that some of my photos in the "organize" phase of the project have a blue box around it. Does anyone know what this means? i thought perhaps it was an indication of poor resolution or that it was autoadjusted, but that wasn't the case on all of them that have a blue box around it.

Also at which phase should i expect to see a red box around pictures to indicate that i need to make adjustments to photos before ordering?

Any help would be appreciated. thanks.
