Recovery?

Hi- I need help.

I went to bed last night with the lastest version of my book saved in the Bookmaker area only.

This morning, computer had rebooted to install new Vista information, and now my book is not listed as being there and able to open. I tried to revert to previous time point, but it still only lists it as what isbelow.

I can only find this file MyPublisher\BookMaker\GD17FC435_BE80_448E_86A8_9F4 0FF6DD6E7\GD17FC435_BE80_448E_86A8_9F40FF6DD6E7.xm l

(example of part of it below) that I know is the book information, but I can't get it to open back into Bookmaker program to view regularly again.

If you know anything I might be able to try I would be eternally grateful, as I have put many hours into this project already.

I know now for next time to export it to save in another location, but is there anything I can do to save this one?

Hello - it sounds as though the file might have been corrupted since BookMaker was still open. For the future, I recommend just ensuring BookMaker is closed after each session so all the files will remain in tact. Firstly, I would try to redownload BookMaker from our website...it will not do any further damage but is worth a shot. Maybe you will see your book listed again. Let me know!

Good morning!

I actually received an email last night from your customer support and I do have my book back! Thank you!!

I had to reinstall the Bookmaker with their link. I hope to finish it tonight so I can get it ordered already... can't wait to see it. Have heard a lot of good things about your product, but have not seen one in my hands yet!

Hopefully I will not need any further assistance, but I appreciate you all being there if I do.
