I would like to purchase photo editing software. What software is the "best"? I noticed questions concerning Photoshop, does this come in different editions? Also, are there any oneline classes that teach the software after purchasing. I downloaded Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 for a free trial but I don't want to buy it if there is a better program. Thanks!

Picture Window Pro from Digital Light & Color. This is the software Jonathan Sachs developed after developing Lotus 1-2-3. A tool used by serious photographers but a lot cheaper and easier to use than Photoshop. http://dl-c.com/

Thanks for the suggestion, but I have windows vista and their website suggests that it isn't compatible. Any other suggestions?
TIA

On their website it states:

System Requirements
Picture Window Pro 4.0 requires Windows XP, Windows NT 4.0, Win 2000, Win 2003, or Vista. (For Win 95/98/ME, use PWP 3.5.)
1 GHz or faster Pentium or Athlon processor and 250 MB of memory is recommended.

As there is a free 30-day trial, I'd download it and give it a spin.
