View Full Version : Spacing Question

I am doing a picture only book. I did a LO of a note book piece of paper and did a bunch of journaling on the entire page. I dropped it in to the 1 photo template - not the full bleed one, the other one that has white on the sides. Question is the spacing on the top and bottom of this page. Is what I see, what I get, or will some of the top & bottom still be cut off? I like said, I have text the entire length of the LO, so I want to make sure nothing is cut off.

I did an enhance photo and zoomed out, so I'm now showing white on the top and bottom between the blue line and my LO. I didn't know if that was necessary or not. Wish there was a ruler function to know how much white I should leave along the top & bottom.

Thank you.

Hi Dmrdm -

The Preview is what you see is what you get, so if you go into Preview mode and there is white space, that's what will be printed. If you dragged your image of the notebook paper in, and there is nothing cut off, you should be fine. Typically the software autofits images into the molds. Another option you can use is the full bleed layout, and use Enhance to zoom the image out until you have what you want on the page. Depending on the background color, the blank space surrounding that image will be white/black/gray.
