I paid 20 bucks extra for overnight shipping and they sent me the wrong family album. 24 hour response time from customer service didn't happen and now I am stuck with a random family's vacation album.

Mistakes happen and they were probably trying to get them out as fast as possible and had a mixup.

I think that the fact that you waited until the last minute to order a customized gift and then expect it to be perfect, especially if you've been reading these forums, well, I'd say most of the "ruined christmas" falls in your lap.

Hi Abby - I really do apologize for any mixup. I have forwarded your issue to a supervisor who will be able to reconcile the situation for you. I apologize that the book never made it in time for Christmas, I know how frustrating that is. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you, other than getting you the correct book, of course.

Sincerely,
MyPublisher

This seems to be a recurring problem: there are several posts on here already about people receiving the wrong book. If we have to tolerate the barcode in the back of our album to ensure the right books go to the right places, why does there continue to be mix-ups with the shipping?

Just for reference, I have ordered from you before with absolutely no issues. I am contemplating ordering my wedding album from you, designing it myself, and saving $300 off of what the photog wants. It makes me nervous to think my album could end up in the wrong hands.............

Is this something that will be addressed as a whole, from a business standpoint? Or will mypublisher continue to out out fires as they arise?

Hi Ellen - please bear in mind that people only tend to post when bad things happen. We publish thousands of books each day and this problem does not occur even once a day. We track this very carefully, and the number of mix ups is is literally under .001%. I am sorry but this is a very unfair and inaccurate accusation. We do our best to make 1000's of customers happy. Holidays season is our busiest time of year. Our customer satifaction rate we also track regularly is extremely high...mix ups happen from time to time in every industry. We do everything we can to make sure this does not happen.

Like I said, I've never had any problems, and plan to continue to use mypublisher. Other online retailers get mix-ups too, but I find it slightly more disturbing to think of my personal photos ending up in a stranger's hands that to receive the wrong shirt from LLBean.

I made no accusations: I simply read what other customers of yours have posted- I assume they aren't lying when they say they received the wrong books, so this genuinely does happen. It is comforting to know your error rate is that low.

I think that you probably ruined your own Christmas by doing it late...sorry but...
I have never had a problem with this company and LOVED what comes each time the books are amazing...you knew it was Christmas time and they are very busy and IF you would have done it just a bit earlier this wouldn't have happened, I know that time gets away from us or we are waiting on a picture or a reply from another party but...we have to consider how many books that go through this company so maybe in the future get it going just alittle earlier!
I can't wait to put another book together for me now!
Hey mix ups happen you can't change what is already done, I have not found a better company that does this type of book go ahead and try you won't be happy with it.
Have a Blessed day.

I made my first book through my publisher and I LOVED it...I even ordered it shortly before christmas....I ordered it on a Friday and I got it on Wednesday with just "standard shipping".........I did the Buy 1 Get 1...one book for each side of the family. They LOVED It....I wish now that I would of ordered one for myself! I noticed there is a coupon code for $20 off but is only for "new customers"...what a bummer!

I have ordered 13 books and 4 jackets from MyPublisher (MP) since September and only had one problem with a delivery on a jacket, and it wasn't MP's fault, it was the carrier's fault. In every case but that one time, I received my order within 4-5 business days from my order date, including a delivery the week before Christmas.

Conversely I had a situation with Picaboo recently where some of the text was missing from my $67 book even though it appeared fine when I viewed the pages on-line. At first they attempted to work with me, but eventually I never heard from them again. I finally challenged the charge on my credit card and the $67 was credited to my account without question. I like Picaboo's product, but I can't work with a company who won't follow through. If I've ever had a question or problem with MP, they stick with it until it's resolved to my satisfaction. I've been very happy.
