I am trying to get a link sent to me that I can send around to friends so they can view my book online....unfortunately the links in the emails I get arent working.

My book id is: M527937

The link I am being sent is:
http://www.mypublisher.com/bookstore/book_viewer.py?book_id=%27.$book_id.%27&sp=x

seems to be missing the book id and is distinctly different from the link I have been sent in the past for other photobooks (which contain book ids).

I'm not sure what you mean. I can view your book just fine. You need to contact customer service.

Sincerely,

i can also view my book online.

If I want to share it with someone however, I click the "share it" link and email myself a "here check out my book" email.

The link in that e-mail does not work.

As I mentioned the URL of that link (that doesnt work) does not include a numeric identifier for the book as does the link in emails I have from other books I have shared (which work).

http://www.mypublisher.com/bookstore/book_viewer.py?book_id=%27.$book_id.%27&sp=x
That looks a bit different than
http://www.mypublisher.com/bookstore/book_viewer.py?book_id=2026741&sp=x

notice the difference.

I would also like to bring up again the fact that the forums are miconfigured so that e-mails sent to notify posters of updates to their threads have links in them that do not work. The links in the notification emails show up as follows:
http://192.168.1.35:8080/jiveforums/thread.jspa?messageID=5790
192.168.1.35 is a non-routable IP address that does not exist on the public internet. That is the IP you use internal for the server (presumably) but no one that gets an email from you can click on the link in the email and see the thread that has been updated.

Hello - I will have to pass this along to our tech team for further investigation. I am unaware of any BookStore issues at the moment.

I'm having the same problem - unable to share the album I created b/c the link sent in the email doesn't work. Were you able to get a resolution to this yet?

Thanks,
KD

No - you need to go ahead and reshare it. Sorry about that.
