Today I received my first order from My Publisher - 2 copies of the same book, which I ordered as Christmas presents. Unfortunately, I will not be able to give EITHER book as a gift due to mistakes made in both books. I'm wondering if this is typical and also will be curious to see how quickly MP will resolve this.

Here are the issues with book #1:

-Spine has one weird indentation right in the middle where something seems to have pressed into the binding
-Page 48, 68, 82 trimmed wrong...white line visible below black page background at bottom.
-Pages 49 & 50 are missing completely.
-Page 48 image and page 73 bottom right image...very, very blurry.
-Page 72 bottom two images appear way too heavily saturated and weirdly digitally altered.

In Book #2, here are the issues:

-Spine is too tight and book cannot be opened properly.
-Page 20 has three red ink dots overlapping with two of the photos.
-Pages 48 and 82 trimmed wrong...white line visible below black page background at bottom.
-Page 48 image and page 73 bottom right image...very, very blurry.
-Page 72 bottom two images appear way too heavily saturated and weirdly digitally altered.

All photos were the same dpi, within the recommended file size range, and from the same professional photographer. I wonder if there's any chance they will make this right before the holidays and also if this is unusual or common with MP?

This is very uncommon - however you need to contact customer service for a replacement book.
