I have tried all the help suggestions on my publisher. When I try to purchase the book and then hit next I keep on getting the message to check my Internet connection, it won't go any farther.

Are you guys sure you are using BookMaker 2.2? I recommend going to the website and downloading the latest version to be certain.

Also please ensure your default browser is set to Internet Explorer 7 (6 will NOT work)

If you are using DSL or a modem, sometimes rebooting that can help as well.

Sincerely,
MyPublisher

HELP! Same problem. I have bookmaker 2.2 and the latest Internet Explorer. I am trying to order 5 books and am SO FRUSTRATED. I cannot connect, have tried everything, don't have time to spend on this. I think I may have to go back to Shutterfly and recreate these!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello - try to reset your Internet Connection, sometimes that helps. Please let me know.

Hi All:
I was able to get this to work - I did have to make some upgrades to Internet Explorer - there were some changes I didn't have and this prevented the connection. Hopefully everyone else is getting their issues resolved as well! Good Luck

I am still trying to connect, no luck so far.
I installed Internet Explorer 7, have flash, have high SPeed internet etc....
I am connected to the network of my employer here, so cannot reset the connection myself. I rebooted as well - \

Any other sugegstions? I need this to get to work today...

Ah - you are at work. I bet a corporate firewall is blocking the connection. You can try downloading bookmaker to a friend's computer in the office, importing and exporting the book file. Alternatively, export the book file, save it and try from a home computer.

What happens to the linked pictures if I export the book? Do I have to transfer those as well?

I just learned this..your pictures are not linked, they are actually copied into the MP file. I had a 233 picture book that I uploaded today and it was over 55 MB, so that shows you how huge the file can get. The file path that you'll need to use to get to the folder is probably going to be something like this (make sure you click the "show hidden files" option): C:\Documents and Settings\*your user name*\Application Data\MyPublisher\BookMaker\*folder with a string of letters and numbers*
Hope that helps!
